Today, I was doing the things that I usually do on a day to day basis and then… I came across some fashion trends that changed my life. Apparently, fashion designers are all about making some chic and trendy vintage and retro styled bicycles right now and calling it a fashion!
Discovering Fashion Designers Secret
I was playing around online, checking out fashion bloggers and luxurious brand sites, and then… I saw it. Icame across this fun little category on the Chanel website. It caught my eye because I saw tennis rackets with the chic Chanel logo on it and gasped. My mind started wandering off to a fabulous place imagining all the things that could be turned to exquisite items simply by putting a fashion designers logo on them.
And then…. the moment that changed my life… the bicycle. Can you imagine how freakin’ cool a Chanel bicycle would be? This thing has three bags on it, one of them being a makeup case. Hello! How amazing is that? Don’t lie. You want it!
I immediately got on my Twitter and twitter-twatted other fashion bloggers, like my girlfriend Jess who writes the Fashion blog, Flats are for Quitters. A couple of months ago, Jess won this adorable retro baby blue bike that she named Betty. I was the jealous, envious friend that wanted to come up with a thorough plan to steal her bike and never get caught. Since we had quite long conversations about her bike, which is totally awkward and weird now that I think about it, I knew she’d appreciate this true beauty. Then again, how could she not? And she did! Yup! She did! I’m psychic.
Honestly though, this Chanel bike is so cool, but I’m pretty sure you would need a extreme security alarm to go on it because there’d be little fashionista’s like myself trying to do anything to take it from you. Hey! At least I’m admitting it.
So dear my fashion readers out there, if you ever receive a Chanel bicycle and it goes missing… don’t say that I didn’t tell you so.
Are you guys loving the vintage inspired bikes or retro inspired bicycle trend? I sure do… as long as it has a cute little basket on it.
For now, I guess I’ll have to stick with my $10 bicycle with my home-made basket on it. How’s that for vintage, be-atch!
My home-made fashion designers bike may not be couture, but it is pretty fabulous.
I can’t believe I forgot to tell you. The Chanel bike costs $17,000. That’s a car. Would you make the sacrifice?
