What Isn’t There To Love About My Life?

It’s no secret that I love my outdoor adventures in Florida, but I’ve been asked the question several times about why I love Florida. I usually respond with my arms out in the air as I look around and say, “What’s not to love?” but since you guys can’t see me right now and are reading my travel blog, I’ll just let you know that it’s totally paradise.

Paradise is exactly what life is on my travel blog. I’m specifically on the bay and each and every day, I get a scenic reminder as to why I love Florida as much as I do. My backyard is the ocean, filled with dolphins, manatee, sharks, fish, sting ray, turtles… Everything. You name it, I saw it in my backyard. My car is always filled with sand and my floors always need to be swept because it always looks like I brought the gulf coast beaches home with me. I love that. There’s a kayak in my driveway and all my neighbours are the best of my friends. It really couldn’t get any better.

I spend the majority of my nights having a barbeque, or “cookout” as ‘mericans like to say, with the people who I’ve met that will forever be in my life. My hours are filled with laughter, sunshine… And more times than not, booze which leads to some trouble and outdoor adventures that I can’t always speak about. Hey! It’s a good time, my friends. Don’t hate the player – hate the game. Actually, hate the corner stores that have booze staring at you from all angles. It’s tempting.

The things to do on the gulf coast are endless. You can take a splash in the shore, walk the gulf coast beaches or even horseback them – Which I have yet to do, but that’s definitely on my mental list of things to do on the gulf coast. There’s tons of shopping, even more events and even more entertainment. Trust me, being bored here isn’t an option. There is always something going on, and the things to do on the gulf coast always delivers.

The true reason why I love Florida as much as I do though, is the scenery and my friends. My life is fulfilled And I’m ready to start it off with a soft footprint in the sand.

Someone is always down for some Chantal Shenanigans and that’s what I love!

People aren’t ever too tired, or too stressed out, or have too many errands to do. Here in Florida, we work to live and don’t live to work.
