Just because fall days are often dark and gloomy doesn’t mean that your fall outfits have to follow suit. With a new purchase of a mustard yellow striped knitted sweater, my fall clothing is well on it’s way to taking a sunnier approach to these fall days.
I wore this lookbook for a day out shopping.
Stripes Go Sideways
When it comes to more than just a fall lookbook and fashion trends, you can find yourself a little eery about rocking stripes I know. They can definitely make or break fall clothing, so be sure to always try on a striped fashion piece before purchasing it. One tip of the trade is to get bigger stripes. In this fall clothing item, I chose mustard yellow because there’s really no colour thats hauter than that for this season. To keep it versatile and non-bulky, I opted for a crochet sweater which will be perfect for the summer too!
Skinny Jeans Slip Right In
What’s worse than having to try and squeeze your leg inside of a boot with your pants pulling up and bunching here and bulging there? Not much! That’s why I recommend that if you’re wearing a boot, always go with skinny jeans. Plus, they’re the ultimate style for fashion right now. Now, you can always go with a boot cut and just cuff the bottom of your pants, allowing you to pull it tight if you notice bulging happening underneath your boot. Of course you don’t want to look like you have 5 ankle bones underneath your fabulous equestrian boots, right?
Saddle Up With Equestrian Boots
I can’t tell you enough how stylish and convenient equestrian style boots are right now for fall outfits! They’re totally on trend and perfect for rocky terrain, or the ice and snow that it about to hit us in only a few weeks time. So buckle up ladies! Get yourself a pair of these!
Essential Lookbook Accessories
Accessories are crucial for all fashionista’s creations. I paired my necklace and belt with my equestrian fashion boots, and chose a white cami that wouldn’t stand out from underneath my crochet top. I usually get my accessories all figured out after I have created my ensemble. When it comes to fall outfits, don’t skip out on this step.
